About Us: Saint Sava Serbian Orthodox Elementary School is set to make history as the first Serbian Orthodox elementary school in Canada. Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team. This position offers flexibility and can be filled on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the candidate's availability and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans for early childhood learners.

• Create a warm and welcoming classroom atmosphere that reflects Eastern Orthodox Christian values.

• Support the social, emotional, and intellectual development of young children through individualized and group instruction.

• Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to provide updates on students’ progress and address any concerns.

• Contribute to the overall development of the school’s early childhood program and participate in school community events.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certification as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) in Ontario.

• Fluency in Serbian. 

• Experience working with young children in an early childhood education setting.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and contribute to a supportive school community.
